We are grateful for every contribution. This policy explains how donations, cancellations and refunds are handled at Udaan Foundation.
Donations to Udaan Foundation are voluntary charitable contributions, not purchases of goods or services. Once a donation is received, it is directed toward our programs for women and girls.
We understand that genuine mistakes happen. A refund may be considered in cases such as:
To request a refund, email hello@udaan.foundation within 7 days of the donation. Please include the donor name, donation date, amount and the payment reference number. This helps us verify and process the request quickly.
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once approved, the amount typically reaches your account within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank or card provider.
If you have set up a monthly recurring donation, you may cancel it at any time. Write to hello@udaan.foundation and we will stop future debits. Cancellation stops upcoming payments but does not automatically refund payments already made.
If a refund is issued for a donation, any tax receipt issued for that donation becomes invalid and must not be used for tax deduction. We will inform you if this applies.
Refunds will generally not be provided for donations that have already been applied to program activities, where the request is made well beyond the stated window, or where the donation was made knowingly and correctly.
